Superman is the superhero alter-ego of Clark Kent, and widely considered a cultural icon. Superman first appeared in Action Comics #1 (June 1938) and since has appeared in various television programs, films, newspaper strips, and video games. Superman's primary love interest is Lois Lane, and his archenemy is supervillain and millionaire Lex Luthor.
